Before going into private practice in Newark, Ohio, I was a criminal prosecutor in Licking County for six years. As a result of this experience, I have a strong practical background in, and understanding of, the local court system. I also have extensive courtroom experience from trying more than 100 cases.

I focus my practice on three areas of law:

• Criminal defense for people charged with a wide range of offenses, including violent crimes like assault and battery, marijuana possession, and traffic tickets.
• OVI/DUI/DWI defense for people who have been arrested for drunk driving or who face criminal charges for a drunk-driving accident.
• Personal injury claims for people who have been serious injured due to the negligence of another person or who have lost a family member due to accidental death.
